As director of the golf clubhouse studio Mr. Christensen’s primary area of responsibility is facilitating master plan studies, which includes analysis of the existing club facilities plus preparing design alternatives. He also is responsible for schematic design and design development phases. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects including clubhouses, swimming pool and ten­nis facilities, turf maintenance facilities, fitness and golf training facilities.

The clubhouse design team has completed over 100 projects throughout the United States, including private golf clubs, municipal/daily fee clubhouses, yacht clubs, pool/fitness facilities and golf course maintenance facilities. Our project solutions evolve from a variety of factors including the unique features of the club, consensus development of committees and membership, our understanding of current club trends, respect for the relationship to the golf course and site, operational concerns and budget. We recognize that a club is also food/beverage service business. A large portion of our projects begin with a comprehensive facility planning process resulting in a membership vote. We provide a complete scope of services that thoroughly evaluates the condition of the club facilities and status of the membership culminating into informed alternative solutions.
